Heartbeatz

The Heartbeatz project incorporated a series of inclusive music workshops for young and older people, developing from our previous initiatives, weekly over five months to enable the group to network and achieve positive outcomes. Participants explored creative writing, discussion of inspiration and musical practice to work towards a unique performance. 

At the ‘Heartbeatz’ showcase, the participants performed songs that they had collaborated on. They developed skills that they have learnt, as well as demonstrating improvement in their confidence and their ability to work as a team. The project produced a CD track and music video for each age category.
